Made in Australia: 7 Australian Designers

Australian style lies somewhere between sophistication and ruggedness; it’s neither too chic nor too crude. Kudos to the Aussies for their fashionable sense of balance.

I have always loved leggings! They’re very comfortable to wear, and look good with with Tee shirts, loosely cut, or clingy Tunics, and pretty sweaters. They are close-fitting, but stretchy and moved with you. Leggings like these, don’t ride up, or slip down when you squat, bend over, or reach up over your head. Leggings are an excellent choose for exercising, working around the house and yard, relaxing, and sleeping. Leggings look good with white, slouchy socks, high top sneakers, or short boots. For fashion-conscious teens, solid color leggings always look good, when worn under a pretty, mini skirt. Back in the 80s I practically LIVED in cozy, stretchy leggings and long, loose Tee Shirts! Needless to say, this is is one style that I’m delighted to see make a come-back.

I thought I’d also add a brief comment about Outfit # 5. The print adorning this cute, little dress, is quite lovely. It’s also a very decent length, ending just at the knees. It’s the kind of dress that will look good for Summer Dinners held outdoors, or a family meal enjoyed in a nice restaurant! I hope the dress isn’t too expensive.
