There’s actually little difference between American biscuits and savory scones besides a few details about texture and shape. For example, biscuits are sometimes made with lard, while scones are usually lard-less. The largest difference is perhaps imaginary; ‘biscuits’ sound like breakfast with gravy or jam, while ‘savory scones’ could be for a sophisticated brunch or high tea. Whatever you imagine, they’re delicious.
